Stands for holy. This means we have to be separated to God and consecrated. In order to be holy we need to be conscious that the Holy Spirit of God is in us. Eph 4:22-31The key to living a life pleasing to God is the renewing of our minds.
A
Stands for anguish for soul. The dictionary definition for anguish is a severe, mental suffering or pain. In this case we mean a desire for souls. The realisation that those without Christ are hopeless. We witness such an example with Hannah. Read 1 Samuel chapters one and two.P
Stands for prayer - talk and listening to God. Prayer should be a two-way traffic. Give God the time to respond. Prayer without ceasing makes this possible. Read 1 Thessalonians 4:7What should we pray for?
1? The authorities in our life that it may be well with us. (1 Tim 2:2)
2? Open doors and open hearts for the word.
3? Pray for those who labour among us. (1 Thess 5:25)
4? Pray for yourself - most people do this.
5? Pray for your children, and their teachers at school
Prayer releases the power of God.

Stands for power. The power released by our prayer and godly livingPrayer releases God?s power into the situation. God?s power changes darkness into light; makes barren mothers produce children (1 Sam 1:10). It releases the might of God to fight on our behalf as with Moses at the Red Sea (Exodus 14). The power of the Holy Spirit is what changes the heart of people: We can speak the word or drop a the tract, but ultimately it is God who is going to change the heart of people.
Y
Stands for yielding. Yielding to the Spirit Of God.Yielding means giving into him. By following our own selfish paths we grieve the Holy Spirit (Eph 4:30). The Holy Spirit feels as God does. If we grieve him we run the risk of quenching his life in us (1 Thess 5:19). When we live in obedience to God we become filled with the spirit (Eph 5: 18-21). Yielding is a conscious choice we must all make. What choice will you take?
