Where is your treasure?

Are you kingdom minded? Yes you are born again, but are you kingdom minded?

If your treasure is in heaven, you will labour for treasure in heaven, that's where your focus will be. Your heart will be on the things of God.

Matthew 6:19-21

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

To lay up takes time. It takes effort. Where are you laying up treasure? On earth or in heaven.

Are you more concerned about getting a good paid job than the things of God? Are you concerned about lost souls? Are you supporting in any way the gospel of the kingdom, or are you indifferent? Just can't be bothered.

Yes you are a christian, but are you about your father business?

Its only wise to invest in true treasure. We need to prioritise our values, and invest in things that really matter.

Again l ask, where is your treasure?
