Aaron is already on the way to meet you - Exodus 4

10 Moses said to the LORD , "O Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue."

11 The LORD said to him, "Who gave man his mouth? Who makes him deaf or mute? Who gives him sight or makes him blind? Is it not I, the LORD ? 12 Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say."

13 But Moses said, "O Lord, please send someone else to do it."

14 Then the LORD's anger burned against Moses and he said, "What about your brother, Aaron the Levite? I know he can speak well. He is already on his way to meet you, and his heart will be glad when he sees you. Exodus 4:10 - 14

I love verse 14 of the scriptures we have just read above.

Notice how God had already asked Aaron to come and meet Moses before even checking with Moses to confirm whether he wanted this new job the Almighty had on offer.

God had made the provision before setting in motion the assignment. This is typical of the Lord we serve

Nothing takes Him unaware. He makes full provision in advance

Do you find yourself in a particular situation where a bit of help would not go amiss? Are you there out of a honest desire to follow the Lord?

I am not talking about missionary work or church planting but the mundane affairs of life we all face ? settling the children into a new school, starting (or finding) a new job, meeting a potential life partner or facing a stern looking problem.

Whatever situation we find ourselves the Lord?s provision is available. The only exception is when we are walking in disobedience. Only repentance and a cry for His mercy will help you out of that.

Aaron did not arrive a moment too soon. God had to get Moses ?ready? prior Aaron's arrival.

As you make your way through the paths of life don?t be deceived into thinking that God?s delays to your expectations are a result of His overlooking your need.

His provision was made available ever before you embarked on the journey.

Remain faithful to Him and His provision shall arrive at the appropiate time.
