Relationships - Communication

1. It's good to talk

People love talking. But even talking comes second to being listened to.

90% of all problems people have can be taken care of if someone would just listen to them
- John Sanford

Maybe this is why God said

And the LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a companion who will help him." Genesis 2:18 NLT The Bible

2. Why is listening important?

It has something to do with the fact that listening creates relationships. It helps connect us to others. Listening helps others become what they were created to be, because it restores their personal value and excites hope within them for their future. Listening is one of the clearest signs of genuine spirituality.- John Paul Jackson
